| Hey ya'll, whoever checks this Xanga (which i kind of forgot that I had...lol) I'm not really posting anymore on this blog. If you want to stay in contact with me, I'm more readily available on Facebook or Myspace. I'm to busy to keep up with this site, so if you want to keep up with me, let's get in contact! I'm doing ok, school is kind of overwhelming right now, and I don't have a job yet, but I'm trusting in the Lord and His goodness. Sometimes it doesn't always look like we want it, but "those who put their hope in the Lord, He shall renew their strenght" take care, Mark | | |
| So, life is really busy but never a dull moment, that's for sure! I'm taking 16.5 credits this semester, working 15hrs a week, and I'm a terrible procrastinator!!!! What could be worse for my schedule than the fact that I have a girlfriend now, in fact, I've had a gf for about 2 months now, but it's not something that I felt that I had to pronounce to the world, but in a small sense I guess that I am now! Ha! Oh well, it's all good. As of now, I am still firmly set on Missionary Aviation, and I'm excited about transferring to PCC coming this Fall, which will be hard to leave Multnomah for 2 years, but I'll be back after that for another 2-3 years, so I'm in the it for the long run! Speaking of being busy, I have to shower, eat, and then run to my evening class, so I didn't plan to write much, but feel free to ask any questions about anything, and I'll try my best to respond to all of them. sorry for the quickie update, but I'll try to update more often and if ya'll have any questions or comments, I'll do my best to keep up with it. I tend to use Facebook more now, so that's a draw! Mark | | |
| Winter break was good, I got to spend a lot of time with family, and it really hit home for me how important family is. I was thinking about those people that don't have a family or a family-like atmosphere and how much that would suck! Family is great whether you want to admit it or not, sometimes it's annoying, sometimes it's angering, sometimes it's painful, and sometimes it's awesome, but I think that it's a blessing from God to have those close bonds, those relationships that surpass failures, financial issues, distance, and everything else that I can't think of this early in the morning! That's about it, I'm back at Multnomah Bible College for the second semester, YEAH!! It kind of got off to a rough start with some snow days and all the homework pretty much saved up until last Friday and now I'm swamped! But the Lord has been so good, I love my classes and profs! I'm looking forward to whatever the Lord will teach me this semester. | | |
| Hey everybody, as you probably noticed, I have updated less and less since the semester started. Sorry about that, so much for all the extra time that I thought I would have! Now it's crunch time for my last final and then I have to pack up to head back home for Christmas!!! yeah! So yeah, pretty much doing a whole lot of studying (and a whole lot of procrastinating too!!). It's been a crazy but good semester. God has done some amazing things through my classes, chapels, and through some neat people here at Multnomah. I've learned so much that I think it will take some more time to assimilate it all. So I'm glad for Christmas break too. Seeing family and friends is going to be great. It's weird how time can drag on, and then the next thing you know, that's yesterday and you're on to new things. Well, gotta go study for my Pentateuch final (lots of reading in Numbers and Deuteronomy!) and memorizing of chapter titles. I hope that everybody out there is doing well and have an awesome Christmas! em Cristo, Marcos | | |
| The National AIDS Fund has a campaign called Light to Unite. Bristol Myers Squibb is donating one dollar for every candle that is lit on this website. It only takes a moment and it doesn't cost anything. This is their 3rd year doing it. Last year, I believe they raised $100,000. https://www.LightToUnite.org/
December 1st is World AIDS Day.
